We offer a variety of towing services here at Gilberts' Towing & Recovery from breakdown towing to recovery towing, We have the right equipment to get the job done quickly, efficient & safely. All of our tow truck operators are trained & certified by the Towing and Recovery Association of America (TRAA). We Are Licensed & Insured for all Towing & Transportation Services throughout the country.
Accident/Collision Towing
We have the fastest response time around. If you are involved in a collision, we can have a tow truck on scene in 15 minutes or less. We can tow your car to your preferred shop or store your vehicle in our gated & secured lot until the insurance takes care of the vehicle.
Luxury/ High End Vehicle Towing
We work directly with Mercedes Benz Roadside Assistance, BMW Roadside Assistance & Audi of America Roadside because we are certified & carry all equipment to load up any vehicle & secure it the proper way. We are the only towing company in Illinois that is certified by Mercedes Benz, BMW & Audi for all Towing & Roadside Assistance needs.
Classic Vehicle Towing
Our Flatbeds are specifically designed for loading & transport of any classic car or truck. Our drivers are properly trained, step by step and how to load a classic vehicle on the the flatbed. We use soft straps to tie the vehicle down from the tires, not the rims or the frame. To hook up to the car, we use a soft bridal strap that is hooked from the frame to load and unload only, but not to tie down.
Equipment Transport
We can load any piece of equipment or cargo & properly secure it for transport. All of our flatbeds are equipped with grade 100 chains, load binders, heavy duty straps & ratchets to tie down any piece of equipment. We also have skid steers & forklifts available to load or unload any cargo necessary.
Low Clearance Parking Garage
We can tow from any parking garage of 7' clearance or higher. If you are stranded in a indoor parking garage, underground parking garage or rooftop parking, contact us & we will send out a wrecker truck to tow the car out of any tight spot or parking garage. From there we can tow it anywhere or if you vehicle requires a flatbed after it is pulled out of the parking garage, we can have it loaded to a flatbed & transport it.
